Data Processing Agreement

1. Roles and Responsibilities

In the context of the services provided by Bridal Mate, the User acts as the Data Controller for any personal data (such as guest lists and RSVPs) uploaded to the platform. Bridal Mate acts as the Data Processor, processing this data strictly on behalf of and according to the instructions of the User.

2. Scope of Data Handling

As a Data Processor, Bridal Mate will only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide the agreed-upon digital invitation and guest management services. This includes storing contact information, managing RSVP status, and facilitating communication between the Controller and their guests.

3. Subprocessors

To deliver our services effectively, we engage carefully selected third-party Subprocessors. These include:

• Cloud Infrastructure Providers: For secure data hosting and edge delivery.
• Payment Gateways: For processing subscription and premium template transactions.
• Communication Services: For the delivery of transactional emails and notifications.

We ensure that all Subprocessors are bound by written agreements that demand the same level of data protection as mandated by this DPA.

4. Data Protection Measures

Bridal Mate implements robust technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the processed data. This includes restricted access controls, specialized encryption protocols, and regular security audits. In the event of a data breach, we commit to notifying the Data Controller without undue delay.
